Office Manager / Operations Manager

A Leadership Opportunity for Someone Ready to Take Ownership

Alexandria, VA | Full-Time | 100% In-Office

$90,000 Base + $20,000 Performance Bonus

Full Benefits | 401(k) Match | PTO | Monday-Friday

If you're ready for more than just managing an office, this could be the opportunity you're looking for.

DMV Foundation Solutions is a growing foundation repair and home services company. We're looking for an experienced, capable operator who wants to take ownership, lead people, improve how the business runs, and grow into a true operations leadership role.

This isn't a traditional Office Manager position where your day is spent answering phones, scheduling appointments, and keeping paperwork organized.

You'll start with those foundational responsibilities, but the opportunity is to take more and more of the day-to-day operation off the owner's plate, become the person people rely on to keep things moving, and grow into a key operational leader within the company.

What's In It For You?

Earn $100K-$120K

You'll receive a $90,000 base salary plus a $20,000 performance bonus. The goal is to reward you for taking on more responsibility and making a measurable impact on the business.

Build a Career, Not Just Another Job

If you're currently an Office Manager but know you're capable of more, this role gives you the opportunity to grow into Operations Management and take on increasing responsibility as the company grows.

Have Real Ownership

You won't be waiting for someone to tell you what to do all day. You'll be trusted to see what needs to happen, take ownership of it, and follow it through.

When a problem comes up, you'll be someone who can take it, figure out what needs to happen next, coordinate the right people, and keep it moving.

Lead People and Make an Impact

You'll have the opportunity to manage and hold people accountable--not simply coordinate them.

You'll help department leaders follow through on commitments, make sure priorities are moving forward, and create a more organized and accountable team.

Grow Into a Bigger Leadership Role

This role is designed to progressively take operational responsibilities off the owner's plate so he can focus on higher-value work.

As you prove yourself, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of more of the business rather than staying confined to a traditional office-management role.

Work Where Your Experience Matters

This is a home-services business. The phone rings, customers need answers, field teams need support, priorities change, and things need to get done.

If you've worked in construction, home services, trades, restoration, or another field-service environment, you'll understand the pace and the importance of keeping the entire operation moving.

Join a Growing Company

You're joining a $3M+ company with room to grow. You'll have the opportunity to bring structure, accountability, and better systems to a business that is continuing to build its team and operations.

Have Stability Outside of Work

Monday-Friday, full-time, 100% in-office, with a stable base salary, full benefits, 401(k) match, and PTO.

What You'll Actually Own

Your responsibilities will grow as you demonstrate your ability to take ownership.

Keep the Business Moving

  • Oversee day-to-day office and operational activities
  • Identify problems before they become bigger problems
  • Make sure important tasks and projects don't fall through the cracks
  • Coordinate across sales, office, and production teams
  • Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion

Lead and Hold People Accountable

  • Manage and support department leaders and team members
  • Follow up on commitments and deadlines
  • Help ensure weekly management priorities are completed
  • Address issues directly rather than allowing them to linger
  • Build a culture where people know what's expected and follow through

Bring Structure to the Operation

  • Help maintain and improve company systems and processes
  • Ensure reports, dashboards, and key metrics are produced and organized
  • Help leadership understand what is happening across the business
  • Look for ways to make the company more efficient and organized

Take Ownership of Administrative and Operational Work

As you grow into the role, you'll have the opportunity to take responsibility for areas such as:

  • Recruiting and interview coordination
  • Sales commission review and processing
  • Operational reporting
  • Management meeting follow-up
  • Administrative processes
  • Customer and office operations
  • Special projects that require someone to take ownership and get them across the finish line

Support the Owner

One of the most important parts of this role is taking meaningful work off the owner's plate.

You'll gradually take ownership of responsibilities that currently require significant leadership time, allowing the owner to focus on growing the company rather than getting pulled into day-to-day operational details.

What Will Make You Successful Here?

You don't need to know everything on day one.

What matters is that you are:

  • Organized -- You know what's happening, what's next, and what still needs to get done.
  • Proactive -- You don't wait to be told about every problem.
  • Accountable -- When you take something on, you own the outcome.
  • A strong communicator -- You can communicate clearly with owners, managers, employees, and customers.
  • Comfortable leading people -- You're willing to have difficult conversations and hold people accountable.
  • A problem solver -- You look for solutions instead of simply pointing out problems.
  • Adaptable -- You can handle changing priorities that come with a growing home-services company.
  • Confident -- You're comfortable taking ownership and stepping in when something needs to be addressed.

Experience That Would Be a Strong Advantage

  • Office Management
  • Operations Management
  • Home Services
  • Construction
  • Restoration
  • HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing, Foundation Repair, or other trades
  • Field-service businesses
  • Managing teams or department leaders

The Person We're Looking For

You may be an experienced Office Manager who has started to realize you're capable of much more.

You may already be an Operations Manager looking for a company where you can have more ownership.

Or you may be the person everyone already comes to when something needs to get figured out--even if that's not officially your job title.

If you're looking for a role where you can make decisions, lead people, solve problems, build better systems, and become a key part of how the business operates, we'd like to meet you.

Your growth is tied to the impact you make.

The more you can take ownership of, the more valuable you become to the business--and the more opportunity you'll have to grow with it.
